The Regina Pats squandered a second consecutive third period lead and lost 4-3 in a shootout to Brandon in WHL action yesterday. Meantime, Portland edged Kelowna 2-1 and Lethbridge blanked Kootenay 1-nothing.
The Saskatoon Blades, meanwhile, return to the practice ice today after salvaging a split of their home-and-home with Prince Albert with a 1-nothing win on Saturday.
To the local ponds, Delisle shaded P-A 5-4 and the Saskatoon Royals topped the Quakers 5-3 in Junior 'B' exhibition.
While on the Midget Triple-A loop Notre Dame trimmed Moose Jaw 6-4.
