The University of Saskatchewan Huskies' football team continues training camp today with workouts at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. at Griffiths Stadium. The Dogs host the Concordia Stingers in an exhibition game on Saturday and then open the Canada West Conference regular season on Friday, August 29th against the Calgary Dinos. Both games are under the lights at Griffiths Stadium, starting at 7 p.m.

San Jose Sharks head coach Todd McLellan has his day with the Stanley Cup in Saskatoon. The former Blades' captain was assistant coach with the Detroit Red Wings this past season as they won the N-H-L championship. The public can visit with McLellan and have their picture taken with the Cup at two different times today. Between 9:30 and 11:30 at the front doors of City Hall...proceeds go to KidSport and Saskatoon Minor Hockey...and from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Boston Pizza restaurant on 51st Street. Proceeds go to the Saskatoon Community Foundation. In between, from 11:30 to 1:30, there's a fund-raising luncheon on behalf of the Saskatoon Community Foundation at the Sheraton-Cavalier Hotel.
