The Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan is smiling once again after a rebound in sales brought the company back to normal after a rough 2009 that saw it lose 70 per cent of its sales. Director of Public Relations Bill Johnson says it appears farmers have returned to normal fertilizer applications in North America and International markets which helped the company sell 472 million dollars worth of potash in te second quarter of 2010. Johnson says Latin America, India and most of Asia have been quite strong this year and he says that helped PCS increase its profits. He says China, which cut its purchase of potash in 2009 is expected to be back in the market by late this year or early in 2011.
