A University of Saskatchewan student-athlete has been named to the Capital One Academic All-America Team.

Judie Souter was the captain of both the Huskie cross-country and track & field teams. She posted a 3.36 grade point average as a Graduate Student majoring in molecular biology. Souter won a gold medal in the 3000 metres and a silver in the 1500 metres at the Canada West frack and field Championship.

The Capital One Academic All-America team is comprised of student athletes from U.S. colleges and Canadian universities.
