The province is going to sink another 50 million dollars into eight more highway improvement projects in Saskatchewan.

Some of those improvements will be reflected in repaving 10 kilometres of Highway 41 near Melfort; upgrading almost 50 kilometres of highway 42 between Tuxford and Eyebrow; grading and paving Highway 305 between Warman and Martensville; and repaving a portion of Highway 55 near Meadow Lake.

Meanwhile, the Highways Ministry says twinning of Highway 11 between Prince Albert and Saskatoon took a big leap forward when 36 kilometres of new northbound lanes opened from north of Rosthern to south of Macdowall yesterday.

New southbound lanes are also being constructed around Duck Lake.
