The rain and thunderstorms have stopped, but the wind isn't going away. Over 70 kilometres an hour winds have been reported throughout Saskatoon, causing many fallen tress and stress for unlucky residents. Justin and Brittany Hiebert , a couple from the Lawson Heights area, had a 50 foot poplar tree slam down on their driveway earlier this afternoon (Wed). No significant damage has been reported so far but Environment Canada says the wind does not look to be letting up until early tomorrow (Thurs) morning. Urban Forestry is asking for people to call them at 975-2890 to report damage to any city-owned trees or about any fallen trees and branches that are blocking roadways and sidewalks.
