With kids headed back to school this week, the Heart and Stroke Foundation is saying children need a healthier start to the morning. The Heart and Stroke Foundation found in a poll that found many children aren't eating breakfast. 51 percent of parents surveyed said there isn't enough time in the morning, while 41 percent of kids said they weren't hungry. Heart and Stroke Dietician, Carol Dombrow says a healthy breakfast is known to help children concentrate better in school and makes it easier for them to learn. She says fibre, iron, and protein is what makes up a healthy breakfast. [ED Aug 27/12] Share: ![]() Tweet
