Two people are dead and three others are in hospital after a head-on collision between a semi and a pickup truck. RCMP say it happened shortly after 7 this morning [tues], 5 kilometers south of Sedley on Highway 33. It's believed the truck was attempting to pass another vehicle when the accident happened. Two males were killed, another male and a female from the truck were sent to hospital along with the male driver of the semi. The road is closed. One lane is expected to open around 11 o'clock. Travelers are advised to avoid the area or expect long delays. There is a lot of fog in the Regina area and drivers are advised to travel with extreme caution. [gw oct 30 2012]
