A 24 year old man from the Pelican Lake First Nation was killed in a 2 vehicle head-on collision. Spiritwood RCMP say it happened last Sunday night about 20 kilometers north of Chitek Lake on Grid Road number 945.  Three passengers in the same vehicle as the deceased and 4 occupants of the second vehicle were all hurt. Police say they were hospitalized with injuries ranging from serious to life-threatening. Alcohol was believed to be a factor in the crash. Names have not been released.  [gw april 5 2011]
