More than 132 thousand dollars was raised for Easter Seals Saskatchewan at their annual Drop Zone fundraiser in Saskatoon yesterday (Tues). About 70 people took part in the descent, where they rappel down the side of the 22 story Carlton Tower. All the money raised goes towards Camp Easter Seal, Summer Fun Program, and Adaptive Technologies, where over 7 hundred people with disabilities in the province benefit. The top donating team was The Saskatchewan Abilities Council's Falling Stars, raising just over 20 thousand dollars, while Elaine Bleie was the top individual fundraiser, donating just over 13 thousand dollars.
