An 18 year old man has been arrested after two assault incidents this morning (Sat). It happened at around 9 o'clock, when the man approached a 26 year old woman at a parking lot at 4th Avenue South and 20th Street East. The suspect reportedly assaulted her, and then ran across the street after she yelled for help. A 65 year old man then got caught on the cross-hairs and was reportedly assaulted shortly after as well. A 32 year old witness then pinned down the suspect, and waited for police to arrive. The 18 year old is charged with 2 counts of assault and 2 counts of breaching a conditional sentence order. He was also arrested for having a Canada wide warrant for being unlawfully at large. The 65 year old victim suffered minor injuries but declined medical attention. (jl aug 4/12) Share: ![]() Tweet
