The Saskatoon Blades scored early and often...and didn't stop until they waffled the Regina Pats 9-0 Saturday night at Credit Union Centre. A crowd of 5,191 saw the Bridge City Bunch do at home what they have done often on the road this season...dominate an opponent. The 14-14-1 Blades scored three times in each period...the first two goals of the night, by Matthew Stransky and Nick Zajac, came 19 seconds apart in the opening two-and-a-half minutes of play. Stransky ended up with two goals and two assists, Josh Nicholls had two goals and an assist and Brenden Walker had a goal and two helpers. Adam Kambeitz, Dalton Thrower and Nathan Burns also scored for Saskatoon as they out-shot 11-17-4 Regina 44-15. In addition, Andrey Makarov made 15 saves for his third shutout and Duncan Siemens was +7 with two assists. In all 13 of the 18 Blades' skaters recorded a point. But, there's no time to celebrate as Saskatoon visits the Pats Sunday afternoon. Game time is 2 p.m. with the broadcast on 92-9, THE BULL at 1:30.
