Major repairs to a railway crossing will mean a highway detour southeast of Estevan.

CP Rail is closing a section of Highway 39 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. today (Thurs) for repairs to the crossing in the Roche Percee Valley.

Traffic is being detoured to gravel roads for about 14 kilometres.

Truckers should consider using alternate routes, such as Highway 6 into and from the U.S. border.
