Cyclist Dies After Vehicle Collision in Saskatoon PDF Print E-mail

A Saskatoon cyclist has died after being struck by a vehicle this morning (Sat).

The collision happened at about 3:30 in the morning close to the intersection of 7th Street and Eastlake Avenue.

Saskatoon police have concluded that the 21 year old man was lying on the road prior to being hit by the north bound vehicle.

He was transported by ambulance shortly thereafter but died of his injuries.

The name of the victim isn't being released because of a family request.

The investigation continues and charges have not been laid against the 36 year old driver.
