The playoff race in the Western Major Baseball League is tightening up, as the league enters its final week of the regular season. Saskatoon Yellow Jackets are currently 2 games back of Moose Jaw for the 2nd, and final, playoff spot in the Central Division. That's after the Miller Express defeated the Okotoks Dawgs Sunday 4-1. Both teams have 7 games to play this week -- but it could all boil down to Friday. Saskatoon plays a key double-header against the Miller Express, in Moose Jaw, that could decide which team earns a post-season berth, and which team misses. Monday, the Yellow Jackets hope to sting the Cardinals when they visit Yorkton at 7:05 p.m. Moose Jaw, meanwhile, is idle tonight. Elsewhere, Lethbridge is at Swift Current for a double header and Weyburn travels to Melville.
