| Child Unresponsive After ATV Accident |

A 3 year old child had to be revived and air lifted to Saskatoon after a quad accident near Hudson Bay. Yesterday, (Wed) 7 people riding 3 all terrain vehicles were travelling in a rural area. The 3 year old was in a car seat that was strapped to the rear rack. The rider lost control and rolled the quad, which eventually came to rest upside down in a slough, with the child still strapped in underneath the water. When the child was unresponsive after being rescued by the other members of the group, but eventually came to after C-P-R was performed. The child was air lifted to Saskatoon for observation. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the accident, but the matter is still under investigation. [ED May 10/12] Share: ![]() Tweet
