The case of a man who died in his cell at Saskatoon Provincial Correctional Center is making its way through the court system.

The cellmate of Elvis Percey Lachance has been charged with 2nd Degree Murder.

The 28 year old was found dead in his cell on the morning of September 13th.

24 year old Dallas Bird was arrested on the 18th and charged.

Today (Fri) was Bird's second date at Provincial Court.

He has been remanded until the 27th.
