The eyes of the country will be on Saskatoon today (sun).

It's the Canadian Country Music Awards show -- and organizers say Saskatoon has already set a new attendance record for the event.

Artists will be on the Green Carpet beginning at 3 o'clock, with the show itself getting underway just before 5.

The show will wrap up by 7, but will be televised across the country at 8 o'clock local time across the board.

The list of artists performing is rather lengthy, but includes names like Doc Walker, Emerson Drive, Jason Blaine, and Eric Church.

Traffic will be bustling for the awards show today.

With a crowd of over 11-thousand expected, Credit Union Centre is recommending those attending should come early.

The doors open at 3:30, but because it's a live broadcast, everyone is asked to be seated by 4:45 p.m.

C.U.C. suggests car pooling as an option or taking the bus.

There are special shuttle buses available from the major malls for a 5-dollar round trip fee.

Regular fares apply from the Downtown Bus Mall.

Buses will depart at 3:15 at each location and will continue with service every 15 minutes with the last bus leaving at 4:15.

Special Needs Transportation is available through regular booking procedures.
