       And the (winning) beat goes on for the Saskatoon Blades! Shane McColgan scored the winning goal with 8:39 remaining in the 3rd period as the Bridge City Bunch won their fifth straight game with a 4-3 triumph over the Swift Current Broncos. McColgan also assisted on Josh Nicholls' two goals while Matej Stransky notched a goal in his sixth straight game. Stransky has eight goals in the streak and 19 in total while Nicholls has 26 goals for the league lead. Alex Moodie made 30 saves for the victory as the Blades were out-shot 33-27. The result ups Saskatoon's record to 18-14-1 for 37 points...four ahead of seventh place Swift Current and eight points back of East Division-leading Prince Albert. The Blades host the Kootenay Ice Saturday night. Game time is 7:05 with the broadcast at 6:30 on 92-9, THE BULL.
