A Melfort man has been arrested after the Canadian Border Services Agency found marijuana in a shipment from Italy, addressed to Melfort.

CBSA Officers seized the drug at the Winnipeg International Airport Air Cargo Facility on July 27th.

They found 300 grams of marijuana concealed inside a smaller box in the shipment.

The Melfort man is facing charges under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and the evidence has been turned over to the RCMP for further investigation.
